It looked too big for a railmaster but could have been, was a nice black dial clean looking. Any way these guys get paid far too much, he said enviously.
That is a hell of a road though, isn't it?

Thought the chopper pilot was a bit handy as well.

Yes, he was definately handy with his chopper

I don't think TG would work with a new presenter........it just wouldn't be the same!!

I've been to see an episode filmed and the banter 'off camera' as well as 'on' was so funny!!

It must be getting harder to think up new ideas tho?!!

Ah yes, but just happened to know a man that can, well.....could :D

We went a few years back, and it's nothing like you see on the box, it's all in segments and they have to rearrange the audience every so often depending which bit they're doing!!

One 'part-conversation' I remember hearing between filming was, with just the 'loud' voices coming from 'somewhere'.....

JC 'right, where's that short arse got to' ?

over the other side of the studio...

RH F off you lanky t**t....what do you want?

and so on and so forth........well worth going if you can get tickets :)

Indeed...notive how any semi-attractive women attending are always positioned at the front in camera shot 8)

I noticed the fit young women in the front of the audience each time a long while back. Not surprising, given the nature of the show, the way it's made and its target audience, really (and I am obviously not complaining! ).

I resurrect this thread to invite people to watch some glimpses of a now declined giant - Harland and Wolff. My father is one of the company's last 70 employees* (from a peak of over a thousand times that) and he has just texted to let me know that it features in tonight's show. They were filming about three months ago on and around the famous cranes which dominate Belfast's skyline, for those that have seen it.

Enjoy, everyone :)

*Thankfully, after breaking four generations of tradition, I have avoided the path to the docks and so still have a job in these tough times. Otherwise Mr Ward would be one customer fewer...! :D
