Hardlex Crystal

Post by Arbor22 »

I have a few marks on the hardlex crystal on my seiko snzh 53, i have a buyer ready to go but he has asked if i can sort the light scratches out first. People often say this can be done with toothpaste, so is it as simple as rubbing it on and working it in, and does it need to be a 'gritty' whitening toothpaste?

Looking to get this done ASAP to complete the sale as i have my eye on something and i don't think it will hang around long
TIA

Try this thread (it's interesting) - caution, right abrasives and lots of patience required it seems.

mmm reading that link looks like toothpaste is not the answer, not sure I'm brave enough to attempt anything with the dremel! I think I need to get googling, thanks for the link.
