Happy Birthday to us.

Post by Kip »

:birthday2:

December 11, 2005 was our launch date.

We are growing up and have reached the age of 18.

We have learned much. We have accomplished a little. So much more to do....

I hope you have enjoyed the ride and look forward to our journey moving forward.

Many, many thanks to all who have made this place what it is today.

Am guessing/hoping there will be a 20th anniversary Forum watch. Knowing how long it has taken to get the 2023 Forum watch to members it might be worth looking at organising one sooner rather than later 🤣🤣.
On a more serious note, congratulations to everyone who has been involved in the creating and moderating of this forum over its 18 year history 👏👏 - thank you 🙏

Wow, that’s cool. A coming-of-age kind of age. I celebrated my eighteenth drinking cider and black and dancing to the KLF….

Here in the US we are about 3 years more immature than most other countries. No tasting that sweet forbidden nectar until 2026 for us.

Happy birthday, forum! Thanks to all who make this place run for all the joy you’ve provided me and everyone else over the years.

This topic is titled, 'Happy Birthday to us'.

Agreed, the Admin Team keeps the technical aspects ticking over, with a steady hand on the tiller from our esteemed Administrator, Kip . . . .
.
.
but. . .
.
.
.
. . . . it's you / we / us, the members that make this forum the place that it is; an enjoyable place to be.

Perhaps we should also thank and be appreciative of Christopher Ward for all they have done over our 18 years, 'cos without them, we wouldn't be here.
