Hope it’s a good milestone watch-wise

Just seen all the birthday messages, thanks very much.

On the exact day I turned 40 I caught pneumonia (I'm blaming the 3 slices of the Mrs chocolate brownie that I ate for birthday cake) almost died and ending up in hospital for 5 days, using a ventaliser 3 times a day to clear my lungs of all the bloody mucus, sleeping maybe an hour a night (drifting off at half 4am, being woken up at half five for meds) and started having hallucinations so it was an amazing birthday for sure. Bit worried about turning 41 now.

I didn't buy a birthday watch for the first time in a long while but now own 500 of my own brand so guess that makes up for it.

Jeez!
I love it when someone picks up a birthday message 6months after the fact, but there’s almost too much news here!

Hope you’re fully well. It was clearly the fact that you didn’t buy a birthday watch that made you so unwell. We should all take note… :D
Pics of the watches? Or even a link? It’s fantastic that you’ve taken it all the way through to this stage :respect:

That was one way to celebrate your 40th Pete.

Good to hear you made what appears to be a full recovery.
