Re: Happy Birthday Bahnstormer_vRS
Happy birthday Guy!! Hope you had a great day! But... Gym on your birthday? I'd at least take my birthday off! (But then I also take the other 364 days off the year off from the gym too, so obviously that's a pointless statement)

NB> I wrote this post late last night, Friday, and omitted to click 'submit'. Fortunately, reopening my web browser this morning ,and with judicious use of the 'back' button, I was able to get to my unsubmitted draft. Phew.
Many thanks again for all your Birthday wishes.
In overall terms its been a good one. Nothing special today as I was up in the City of London with my girlfriend / partner yesterday, details of which can be found in the Pics from the Walkers thread and tomorrow (Saturday) I'm being treated to a night out in a Country Mansion hotel in Suffolk, again with my girlfriend / partner.
This is a treat she had planned for me last year to celebrate my 65th, but we were unable to go due to Covid Lockdown restrictions. Storm Arwen permitting we'll be able to celebrate tomorrow.
A visit to the Gym sound a little more grandiose than it actually is. I'm currently going only once a week and I do around 45 mins of light core strength work and a session on a Cross Trainer for aerobic and to give my legs a work-out to mitigate the effects of arthritis in my left knee; for which I'm hoping to have a knee replacement operation in the New Year (to go with my two replacement hips from a few years ago).
I was planning to wear this tomorrow when I go away overnight but, with the weather being so rubbish, I might resort to a diver or similar.
Any watch related presents? Sadly no. After recent acquisitions of a C60 Concept, Breitling SuperOcean, Bremonth #ProjectPossible and others, I'm on a moratorium for buying right now as;-
1. I ought to be replenishing my watch fund and
2. I've got a Knee Replacement operation to pay for in the New Year.
Until next year then.
Guy

Ears burning, Paul? Maybe just a tad and I've since caught up on your Prototype acquisition. I approve.

It was last year that was my significant, 65th, birthday Wyatt, which I celebrated becoming a 'Senior' (in American parlance) by getting my Pinion R-1969.
I was planning to wear this tomorrow when I go away overnight but, with the weather being so rubbish, I might resort to a diver or similar.
Hopefully you saw my C60 Concept, for the morning, and my new acquisition (trade) of a C11 Makaira Elite COSC, for the afternoon, in the CW of the Day thread, Des.
What did I choose to wear today, watch wise Patrick? See my post above.Thegreyman wrote: ↑Fri Nov 26, 2021 8:18 am Happy birthday Guy! Any watch related presents and what have you chosen to wear for the day

Re: Happy Birthday Bahnstormer_vRS
I saw both, Guy. Equally stunning watches I might add. I've always liked the look of the Makaira - CW does Panerai. I'm not sure there's anyone on this forum that keeps their watches in better condition than you and Ferg. I wouldn't let the C11 go for a second time, it's a keeper in my book.Bahnstormer_vRS wrote: ↑Sat Nov 27, 2021 10:20 amHopefully you saw my C60 Concept, for the morning, and my new acquisition (trade) of a C11 Makaira Elite COSC, for the afternoon, in the CW of the Day thread, Des. :wink
