^^^ That is fabulous. I tend to favour brushes cases for resilience against scratches, but there’s something about a polished case that oozes class.....
Well done!

Stunning looking watch Guy, the finishing on the case, the display back and a lovely uncluttered dial. Superb.

You were not a mile off, Richard. It ticked a number of boxes.downer wrote:Oh well. my O pinion was wrong...
I got Steinhart's email about this during last week and, rather than routinely deleting it, I clicked through and read up on their Military Chrono.
Ultimately, I felt that I wanted to get something more special.

Re: Happy Birthday Bahnstormer_vRS
Congratulations all on your astute assessment of what I have bought. It certainly did not take the full 20 questions to get the correct answer.
I've clearly been around here for far too long with my tastes becoming too transparent and well known.
Now all I need to do is sell some watches to pay for it (in part at any rate).
The first departure, that of my Bashed up Bloxworth - V_2 was sorted last night, following a PM to me expressing interest from a forum member.
Who else would like to PM me?

Re: Happy Birthday Bahnstormer_vRS
That Pinion is beautiful! And the Orange Crush is superb too! I remember being wowed by the issue of Loupe with it on the cover!
That was the one I was thinking of, and the Panda EB, as being a couple of stand-outs in your collection. Shame I'm currently so far away that postage is out of the question! Actually - that's good for my pocket!Bahnstormer_vRS wrote: ↑Sun Nov 29, 2020 10:26 am The first departure, that of my Bashed up Bloxworth - V_2 was sorted last night, following a PM to me expressing interest from a forum member.
