Garden, before and after

Post by golfjunky »

We moved into a new house mid December. The builders we bought from do not supply grass with the houses and only a limited amount of paving slabs. so after some saving we have finally had the garden done.

After.

sad that we are not allowed on the grass for 4-6 weeks and that i have to water it twice a day on a new water meter but hopefully it will all be worth it.

(should have left it as mud and bought a new watch!)

Looking good. It is annoying what many developers feel they can get away with in terms of landscape design and installation. Giving you a decent lawn and patio wouldn't have cost that much more.

thanks, we didn't get any flooring either! they cant sell the house next to us so as an incentive they have put a load of cheap beige carpet in it and put the price up by £5k.

Crikey!

That's a lovely job.

A huge improvement but looks like you were a roll short

Will look great when the grass has settled and better still in a couple of years when the plants and trees have matured - here's hoping after+ pics will follow.

Cheers Steve. Had to move 25 miles away from Loughton just to afford what we wanted.

No dogs........... but maybe one day. No one here during the day to look after a dog.

Greetings,

Well done, your hard work and pennies have made a great improvement.

I hope the forthcoming summer allows you to use the BBQ!

Enjoy your new house and garden.

Quite right. So short sighted. A neatly designed and prepared garden can be the icing on the cake to a good sale; regardless of whether the house is new or old.

Congratulations on your efforts Greg. Looks great.

Definitely get it watered, worth buying a sprinkler so you won't need to stand around with the hose. It has been so dry recently and there's not much in the weather forecast for rain (at least in the next week or so).

That looks great Greg - just remember to remove your watch before having a go on the trampoline! :)
