I brought two books on vacation - a history of sorts built around twelve different clocks over the ages; and The Sun Also Rises because I felt it was time to reconnect with an old favorite.

I gave up on the history. It’s more style than substance and has been disappointing.

The Sun Also Rises is always a pleasure!
