#FabulousFriday

Post by missF »

What watches in your collection make you feel fabulous? Pics please! I won’t pin down Fabulous with a definition. Perhaps you can tell me your definition and why your watch makes you feel it.

Not sure any of my watches make me feel fabulous. More of a feminine adjective.
Basically, I'm for anything that gets you through the night. Be it prayer, tranquilizers or a bottle of Jack Daniels, Frank Sinatra

Taking any misreading of the word fabulous out of the equation, (however it does have a fabulous alliterative quality to it here). I interpreted watches that make you feel fabulous to mean watches that make you feel good/confident/happy/content/fabulous *

The watch that always gives me a good feeling when I put it on is my El Primero.

I'm going with the 15th century meaning of fabulous - legendary.

Can certainly see why, Guy. A lovely watch with one of the best caseback's I've seen. I would imagine that @nbg would be a fan of that.

ha, what a fabulous idea for a topic!

At the risk of being incredibly predictable there can of course be only one answer...

I'm terrible at articulating why but I do just feel great whenever I wear the Spirit - I love all of my watches, but there's just something about this one that makes me glow inside whenever I pop it on (which is perhaps why it's been absolutely dominating my wrist time over the past couple of months!)

I’ll go with this Tag reissue. It’s not terribly fabulous on paper, but it’s quite a different proposition in person.

I think I’ll have to follow @iain on this one and go with a Zenith. Leather or bracelet? I can never decide.

@biggus_richus , that is by far my favorite watch Tag has produced. I love seeing it

For me, I often pick this one up if I want to feel fabulous. Even after 2+ years of owning this and some fabulous newer acquisitions, this one shines through.
