^^^^ I can't see a whole lot of difference between this car and F1's 'design exercise' of mid-2021, but then maybe that's the whole idea of the new rules.

There’s a great discussion of it on the Formula 1 website hereBahnstormer_vRS wrote: ↑Mon Feb 07, 2022 12:24 am ^^^^ I can't see a whole lot of difference between this car and F1's 'design exercise' of mid-2021, but then maybe that's the whole idea of the new rules.

Re: F1 2021 / 2022 Motorsport Thread
F1 have announced that Michael Masi will no longer be race director. A complete new structure has been announced.
Not a surprising announcement, but one that may start to get F1's reputation back. I feel sorry for Masi, but F1 had to make that decision to restore credibility.

Re: F1 2021 / 2022 Motorsport Thread
Moving Masi out of his role sort of admits how Abu Dhabi played out was wrong, which in turn throws the stewarding fairness/process into doubt.

Re: F1 2021 / 2022 Motorsport Thread
Thanks Jon.
That's stunningly sculptured; so organic; could be a Manta Ray or Shark or similar. Ferrari's nose is somewhat different to other cars; bit like an Anteater's.
Its a pity though that Ferrari's launch was spoilt by the FIA simultaneously releasing their 'findings and actions' post Abu Dhabi. They, the FIA, could have at least waited a couple of hours.

Confirmation that Lewis is returning for the 2022, I never doubted he would return for this year, despite the ridiculous debacle of Abu Dhabi and being robbed of the title.
