I hope Perez gets a drive. The 2nd Red Bull seat would be a better option though.
Haas need someone to lead development rather than 2 rookies . Hulk would be a better option but doesn't have the money Mazepin will bring to the team .
At least Williams kept Russel

Horrific accident for Grosjean. Thankfully walking wounded.
It'll be interesting to see a report on the halo, looked in tact and probably saved his life, but could've trapped him in the fire.

Absolutely horrific and a bloody miracle that Grojean got out with, by all account, only minor burns and injuries.
Recent images show damage to spine of the HALO, probably where it acted as a can opener to piece the crash barriers. Undoubtedly this saved Romain, allowing him to get out of his car unaided; save for a Marshall with a Fire Extinguisher and the Chief Medical Officer, who gave him a helping hand over the barrier.
Total kudos to the Medical Car team and Circuit Marshalls in their swift action.

I suspect that's the end of Grosjeans F1 career and what a way to bow out.
Looks like his achilles heel (spatial awareness) has done him again and he was talking about racing in Indycar, where they do have spotters but also have closer racing.
I grimace on each replay and hope he is ok, but also hope he retires from competitive racing.

Amazing that Grosjean walked away from that. F1 cars are unbelievably strong and safe we know, but even considering that it still seems miraculous he managed to escape with minor injuries.

Incredible to walk away from that. I also reckon it's the first and last time a driver who does less than 1 lap of the race gets voted Driver Of The Day!

Has Grosjean ever won driver of the day before?
Lucky fella to walk away from that.
