I sincerely hope you are correct as the current two and a bit horse race is tedious in the extreme.
It would be even better if Renault could get their chassis sorted and make it 4 competitive cars on the grid.

I've read the #2 episode of this. Fascinating insight and I need to read the rest to understand how he got his current drive with McLaren, who must have an awful lot of forgiveness.jtc wrote:A great multi article series on the BBC about Alonso. I'd forgotten just how much of an arse he was at Mclaren first time round.
Just 20 minutes ago I finished watching the full 1hour programme "Driven: The Bily Monger Story" that was broadcast on BBC2 on Monday. I had recorded it and wanted to give it un-divided attention and I had a few hours spare this afternoon. I was about to add a post on the Forum but this fits in nicely on this thread.NotEnoughWrists wrote: ↑Thu Nov 22, 2018 6:45 pm Thought a few of you might find this interesting- Interview with Billy Monger 18 months on from the crash in which he lost both legs.
I remember watching it live at the time- i better not repeat what word i blurted out involuntarily as i saw the severity of the crash, its just a good job my parents weren't there or i wasn't doing a live broadcast.
With Robert Kubica making it back in to F1 in a modified car, it shines a bit more light on Billy's chances of making it to F1 in the future- he certainly seems to have the talent based on his results pre and post accident.
