I'll admit to being totally f****** amazed at some of the s*** you guys carry around with you !

What kind of jobs do you have or what kind of turmoils/devastation/famines/war zones/natural disasters/(insert as appropriate) do you actually come across on your way to and from work and generally getting round in life ?

I see there's a slight bias which appears to be that our cousins from " 'cross the pond" seem to face the possibility of certain tumultuous situations in their daily get around.
I'm so glad my life is simpler than that....

Have any of you considered upgrading to one of these to get ya $h1t in ?

 I don't look far off that guy when working on escalators. I'll have a comprehensive tool box, a second tool tote bag with lubricants and cleaning products, a rucksack with pendant controllers and escalator spares, a socket set, a folder for paperwork , and dependant on site, 2 safety barriers and a Henry Hoover to cart about.

Be it so, but I'm damn well sure you don't leave the house in the morning with all that hanging from your belt ?

Day to day, i just have a budget multitool as I misplaces my own Gerber a few times so stopped taking it to work- and the boss is a stingy bar steward and wouldn't pay for one, so the budget version is all i could squeeze in to the leftover budget on a job.

Now going travelling is a different animal as i always take the Gerber, mini mag light, gaffer tape, cable ties, occasionally some super glue and anything else that looks useful :D

You need to be prepared for any eventuality- sometimes all inclusive just doesn't deliver past a good feed and copious all day cocktails

A selection of hats. :)

And as the image was from the NHS website it’s clearly passed the family friendly test....

EDC = Every Day Carry. There are some very large forums dedicated to this: https://www.edcforums.com/

Thread about EDC pocket organizers: https://www.edcforums.com/threads/edc-p ... -2.101227/

This can easily become as addictive as watches so enter at your own risk..! ;)
