I’m just making a mental note never to get in a round with @Dickchins
Iain’s Law: Any discussion on the Christopher Ward forum, irrespective of the thread title or subject matter, will eventually lead to someone mentioning the Bel Canto if the thread continues for long enough.

Damp January here. A couple of significant birthdays this month meant that I knew completely dry January would have been very difficult. I just wanted to give my body and mind a breather after a very hectic December.

Decided last minute to take part this year - never really felt the need, as not a huge drinker these days (mostly, apart from a bit of casual binge drinking on the rare occasions I do get to go out..)
However, I thought it would be a good time to try, whilst I was doing Red January (Run Every Day).
Can't say I feel much better for it.
Looking forward to my first beer once it's over though..or Gin..or Wine. :D

I rarely to go pubs/restaurants etc. I’m definitely a home drinker. So my little fast won’t affect the hospitality trade.

Less than 24 hours to go!!
