The original DBR1 was part of the C70 Grand Prix series, added after the six initial Grand Prix models. It’s the non-chronometer version and doesn’t have a disc of metal from the car. However, I still think the case back is lovely.

The Miyota movement is maybe a touch on the gaudy side, but I do like the quotes that Marloe add to the rear of their watches.

Maybe JLC could make a Reverso with an exposed caseback so one could choose to admire the watch face or the movement depending on mood. I'd be totally down for such a watch!

They have produced a few over the years.

This was the first that came to mind.
