It was very odd all the doors on the fitted furniture were rattling I was half a sleep. I walked round the house checking for anything then it stopped. We had been having strong winds earlier so I thought that could be it. Woke up today nope it was my first earthquake. We had the floods, the earthquake oh no!!

I live in a pretty active earthquake area. Southern California, US. A major fault line runs through the state and we get many quakes a year. It's always a thrill to experience your first though.

Was just admiring everybody's nonchalance when I thought, 'does the guarantee cover against earthquakes?' UB
