Bezel Choice

Post by JAFO »

I have an Invicta pro-diver with a red bezel, but I think it's a bit too bright.

I ended up with a few spare bezels while trying to fix my green Loreo, so I have a few to choose from

The top 3 are aluminium in black, blue and black and red. The bottom two are ceramic in black and green, and less shiny.

I think they will all fit, so I just wondered what you all thought might look best. Sorry the picture is a bit dull.

Ceramic black for me. I’m keen on black/black divers at the moment

Pick the one that will give you the best visibility at 40 metres.

Thanks but most things are a blur at 40 metres. 40 centimetres, you're talking. :D

Thanks. I might well go that way. I have an Invicta 1953 in black/black, but the ProDiver is a different design, and it won't matter having another. I am trying to soak the insert off at the moment.

Surprisingly hard extricating the red bezel even after the adhesive had been loosened.

Anyway here's the blue bezel, the black and red, and the black ceramic. They are all ok, but I think @missF has the best choice, so black it is. :D

Neat work Dave and I feel too @missF was right.

A classic 'Sub' look now.

Fun fact; in all your watching of Sport on TV have you seen that INVICTA are Sponsoring the Virtuosi Racing Formula 2 team.

Just stuck the bezel insert in place. I'm not sure where it's a fraction off. It's not easy as you only get one go.

Anyway, my wife quite liked it without any bezel insert in place at all. I can certainly see the explorer type aesthetic. I'll give it an outing over the weekend now.

I hadn't seen that Guy. I must say my motor racing viewing mainly consists of watching a bit of F1 qualifying, and the start of the race, unless it looks like being more interesting than that.
