A Poem About Change!

Post by missF »

:lol:

Change is difficult.

Change tilts our axis,
smacks us about the head with alternative ways
that unsettle the routine-ness of our days;
we hold to the old with unusual fondness
and barely can bear to allow to unfold
some new ways of being
lest we be
undone in our entirety
or left out in the cold…..

change makes us wobble on our perch,
gives us full-blown shaky liberty,
so jittering us completely;
makes us lurch from one
unruly clamour to a random slanted other
with nothing to clutch.
Leaves us in uncertain din of a spin
and shakes us much.

But try to just sit with the
helluva spin, and go with the flow when
the change rushes in;
try not to freak out, just master the spin!
allow it to happen,
then the future blows in….

A salutary and not untimely ode. Nice writing. :thumbup:

Excellent. Very true for some of us. Others seem to need, indeed crave, change.
