Love me a PRS, congrats on a great acquisition. Long term goal for me is to commission a private stock build.... Quilted maple, abalone birds, maple neck....

I considered plenty of more expensive guitars, but honestly, my playing doesn’t warrant it.

right? i'm actually considering selling my most expensive guitar now. i play my american tele and the custom strat we built 98% of the time anyway. so some day i need to get off my butt and take pictures of my 78 ibanez artist. probably worth more than the next three guitars combined, and i'm not playing it much. it deserves to be in the hands of someone who will get more out of it than me.

@jkbarnes That looks superb. I love the inlay birds on the fingerboard.

I know nothing about electric guitars, never even picked one up. I only have one instrument. It can do Dowland to Dire Straits, Bach to Brel, and the likes of Sor, Tárrega and Villa-Lobos. Problem is, it doesn’t do any of them very well with me at the helm! :(
