Service and showroom to reopen
Good news! I am told that the service & repairs department, plus the showroom, will be reopening on Monday April 12th in line with the UK government guidelines.

That's good to know... I need to get my 4mo C65 SH21 in for repair. I need that back on my wrist for the summer!

Re: Service and showroom to reopen
I have a returns package on the way to me to send my broken C65 back to CW Towers in.
So far, very straightforward.
What should I expect when the package arrives. Is it easy to safely package the watch to send back?
TIA, Rich.

Re: Service and showroom to reopen
Hi Rich,
As I'm in Ireland they use a different system, they organize DHL to come and collect it in it's original box etc.
I have two being collected tomorrow.
Sorry I can't be of any help, I hope you get it back soon mate.
Re: Service and showroom to reopen
^^^ Thanks! I do have all the original packaging so wondered about getting that ready.
Hope your repairs are swift!

I sent one back last year (spinning rotor on a new watch). My recollection is that the returns package is simply a form for you to complete, together with a prepaid Royal Mail Special Delivery envelope. It is left to you to decide how you package the watch inside the envelope. I sent mine back. Inside a watch pod, that I packed in an outer cardboard box that I had lying around.
I don’t know if the process is still the same.

^^^ Thanks for the information.
I think I'll package it in the original boxes ready for its return.

^^^^Using the original box or other square/rectangular box allows CW to store/stack the box easily.

^^^ Thanks!
I'm glad I've kept all the original packaging although sorry it's being used to send back for a repair!
Thanks for the replies everyone.

Timely reminder for me to get my C8PR back for repair. Just spoken to CS, they say using a watch pod is good so that's my plan.

DHL collected my two watches today as scheduled by CW.
I sent them back in the newer CW boxes.
