Mike Pearson is CW's new American Brand Director
Mike Pearson is CW's new American Brand Director
I've just seen over on Insta that Mike Pearson (@mikepearson6) is CW's new American Brand Director.
Mike, a British guy, did a similar role for Bremont promoting their business in the States and if he is as passionate for CW as he was about Bremont then expect big things for CW there.
He is very active on social media, from this I know he is an Aston Villa fan and it wouldn't surprise me if he checks the 'mood' of all things CW here in forum in due course.
I think it's going to be a good year.

Mike announced he was leaving Zodiac but didn't say where he was going. This is a great move for Mike and CW.

Never heard of him.
Is that good or bad?
I remember when Beckham and Gaga were appointed as Tudor ambassadors. Some folk abandoned the brand.
Quite bizarre but people are strange!

Column inches I suppose. One crowd, the old crowd (of known spending powers) slip away to be replaced by trendsetters who pick up things like they've just discovered sliced bread. But does any of it matter? Maybe not.
I've never heard of the man but I'm not in The States and I'm not an instagrammer. Let the results speak the proof I say.

To be fair, we are mixing jobs here. Mike isn't an ambassador really (although 'cheerleading' will be part of the job). He will basically be CW corporate in America. His title is Brand Director.

Apologies!!
He's a new employee not a celebrity! He'll be employed to drive brand recognition and sales in the US.
Only watch nerds will have heard of him and then, in my case, only because I have a Bremont and follow them online.

Congrats to Mike Pearson! I've seen him on several watch forum streams while he was representing Zodiac and he's an enthusiastic watch aficionado and quite an engaging chap. I expect great things from him as the new American Brand Director for CW.

Re: Mike Pearson is CW's new American Brand Director
Mike was highly regarded when he worked for Bremont and has done a great job for Fossil/Zodiac in the states. In a very real way he became the face of Zodiac here. He got the brand into a lot of shops and has been a great spokesperson for Zodiac in the US and internationally by way of various podcasts, YouTube appearances and so on. He has many years experience in watch brand development and marketing. The US is about 30% of CW sales and in the short term has the greatest growth potential. Having met him a few times I think he will be good for the brand. His energy and enthusiasm and knowledge of the watch market will be assets that I hope CW can use.

Re: Mike Pearson is CW's new American Brand Director
I became aware of Mike when he was at Bremont, and he was a wonderful stateside advocate for them. I was very surprised and a little upset for him when they let him go. CW are lucky to have him, and I wish him every success.

I hope that an expanded presence and sales in the US might then also lead to a servicing center in the US to handle this growing market.
