I'll try this next time I have an issue. But it's a shame that forum members need a special email address to get the service every customer should receive.

Although it can certainly be used for an issue, it was designed to be a small perk for forum members so you would be recognized for a bit of VIP attention whatever the question or issue.

@wvs411 - as Kip has written, having a forum exclusive address for Wera is a perk to get a bit of VIP treatment.

Additionally there are, from time to time, watch sales that are forum exclusive in which event Wera needs a forum exclusive email address.

In general terms Wera is fantastic but these days runs a busy department. Whilst I have dealt with her on and off, these days I take the view that any one of her team should be capable of providing the same excellent service as she does. Thus, for routine matters, i.e. I've recently had a couple of watches serviced, I've contacted Customer service in the way any other customer would.

Excellent service has been received, particularly from Scott Calloway with whom I have struck up a rapport.

I'm hoping I don't have any issues in the future, and forum exclusive Watch sales sound like an interesting proposition. I'll look out for them.

Does this email still work? I emailed it yesterday just after 2 PM GMT and haven't heard back yet.

It does still work but I know Wera is very busy at the moment so the response time will be slightly slower than usual.

Good to know, thanks. That personal touch is what attracts me to brands.

Thanks! I'll give her a day or two more. Been waiting to hear back from them since last Monday (via email) then called and left a message in the UK Friday afternoon, then emailed Wera on Monday. I think I'll try someone else if I haven't heard anything by Wednesday.

I did not read this post about the special email address for Forum members, so I sent an inquiry regarding bracelet availability through the regular website link.

To my surprise, Ms. Wera answered my question in only 24 hours or so! Bravo, CWL!
