Been here for a little more than a year, all i have to do is thank Hans and the Mods for the great reception and help i have received.

Because of the forum i am now on the 3rd CW, expecting more in the future.

Hope that being owned by CWL the forum will only get better without letting go the independence and the friendly ways that mark this place.

Cheers,
Sifion.

I am a little disappointed to have discussed this with a few of my watch fan friends to discover they see the move as a marketing ploy to gain control of the followers of cw... Personally I think it is rubbish and I hope it remains no different to the forum we love,

It should come as no surprise these guys are tz fan boys.. But one comparison did make me chuckle, it was voiced that this is how hitler started out by taking control of propaganda... Oh dear! So either the fourth reich begins here or we will disappoint them.. Idiots, all they have done is put me off tz even more

Personally I think Kip does a fantastic job moderating, heck they haven't kicked me out yet and Long may this wonderful asylum continue, thanks to Hans for founding it and to cw for continuing it, but most of all to kip for putting up with us unruly bunch... I heard that we have Manchester United fans and all sorts on here... Someone has to be I guess.

Finally thanks to each and every member new and old, the ones I have gotten to know make it the awesome place it is today.

It'll be interesting to watch how the forum is affected by the new "management"

I think the mention was that he was banned from Timezone, not TZ-UK.

I won't comment on the moderation policy at Timezone - but it is the only forum that I have ever been banned from, and I have been participating in many different internet discussion groups since 1987. Disagree mildly with a moderator and your account gets zapped.

Many thanks to Hans for all that he did to build this forum. I do have slight reservations about it becoming part of CW (based on a car club that I was active in, which then became part of the marketing department of the manufacturer involved with a promise that nothing would change - and then, slowly, things did begin to change, and not for the better).

Having started and run several forums I can appreciate just how much Hans and in fact everyone contributes. I'm new here but the reception has been all anyone could desire.

Thanks.

Thanks. "The Asylum" has a lot of back rooms. More than I remember when we built it!

I keep finding things. :)

Banned from TZ? That should be a badge of honor.

Thank you to Hans for starting this wonderful forum and bon chance to Kip for leading the way to the next chapter. But Kip, will this new title help your golf handicap? ;-)
