Re: Everton!
Yeah but I think it is so funny that Christopher Ward’s name is going to be all over Everton

Phil, I must admit my knowledge is lacking. In my defence, as a Leicester City fan, I am still celebrating our Premier League win

Re: Merseyside Derby
Tribus ended their deal with LFC within 24 hours of the failed Super League announcement. Chris and his sons are still trying to dispose of their LFC watch range of watches.
Re: Merseyside Derby
Two of which I bought for my Red mates. There’s no real bitterness up here, amongst intelligent supporters. Indeed, it’s usual to have families divided. Incidentally, when Tribus tied up with LFC, I did text Chris with some ideas for his new range…the ‘Mo Salah’ obviously a dive watch or the ‘Henderson’ limited and mechanical….alanrolfe01 wrote: ↑Thu Jun 23, 2022 5:42 pmTribus ended their deal with LFC within 24 hours of the failed Super League announcement. In the interests of balance with reds on here, CW could always bring out ‘The Calvert Lewin’ a ‘dress’ watch…

Well I used to be a Christopher Ward fanboy until this announcement. But now that CW isn’t supporting my team - the Poughkeepsie Punters - I’m selling my entire collection and buying only from companies whose values and opinions and football allegiances align 100% with my own. That list includes:
- Let me get back to you on that

Re: Christopher Ward becomes Everton's Official Global Timing Partner
That could be a new twist on the "logo debate"The Everton crest will look very smart on a CW watch
As another person with no interest in watching men in shorts, I was still surprised to hear Everton F.C. described as "giants". I must try to get out less ...
On a more serious note - I wonder if this is an opportunity for CW to establish a physical presence in Northern England? I'd go.
I started out with nothing and I still have most of it left

The Christopher Ward text would look great wrapped around St. Rupert's tower
Edit: dreadful use of a smiley.

Re: Christopher Ward becomes Everton's Official Global Timing Partner
Knowing the Tribus Liverpool deal cost £8m over 5 years I guess this deal will equate to around £800 of revenue for Everton then .
Hopefully it helps grow the brand and they have better success than Tribus where the watches were the problem rather than the sponsorship deal.
There is no reference here to producing co-branded watches I can see, let alone intending on selling quartz versions in retail stores whilst at the same time attempting to sell other watches for over £1.5k as a start up, confusing the brand.
I do like a blue watch so hopefully they bring out a diver, likely called the Richarlison.
