Whilst not a sports fan, I've been seeing the CW logo connected to Everton for a while now. As with a lot of these sponsorship deals, it's not obvious who the "twin flags" is connected to and even if it were, I doubt that most people seeing it would know who "Christopher Ward" are and what they do.
On a more positive note, the news in the latest "Loupe" that there will be a showroom in Everton's new stadium is interesting.

Everton on current form on the pitch, it may be in the Championship for the new stadium! Observing the team collapse late yesterday they will need to address the situation fast and soon! It’s fair to say for the club a lot hinges on retaining premiership status this season would be a massive understatement.

I think it still piques interest and at least it has the Christopher Ward name along with the logo so many people will google it just to see what it's all about. I remember when Watford just had the bitcoin logo on their shirt sleeves and a lot of people were asking or wondering what it was about.exHowfener wrote: ↑Sun Sep 01, 2024 6:16 pm Whilst not a sports fan, I've been seeing the CW logo connected to Everton for a while now. As a Red, I find it hard to support CW
I can't believe Everton is sponsored by CW. It might deter my from my purchase.

I'd be very surprised if they are not playing PL football when they move into Bramley Dock, complete with CW branding aplenty!
I wonder if Mike France has thought about stadium naming rights

It's fairly well known that Mike France is an Everton supporter. As you would be if you came from ... Formby. As a Red, I find it hard to support CW

Easy perhaps for me to say - not a football fan - but if you were to avoid all the products of companies that sponsored (past and present) teams you didn't particularly like, I doubt there would be much left.
I quite like Everton mints.
