Not a football fan, which is why I'm posting here while my wife watches the match on TV - but mildly interesting. Are CW really the largest U.K. watch brand? That surprised me.

Difficult to think of another UK watch brand that is larger.

Although if they mean “the largest watch brand by reference to UK sales, regardless of the brands country of domicile”, then it certainly isn’t CW.

Agree that Sekonda's mass market approach means they sell the most watches by a UK watch brand, so I imagine the view on Christopher Ward is based on turnover.

Definitely a good marketing move, greater exposure to the general public outside of us watch nerds

I was watching MOTD last night for the first time in years.

I noticed some pitch side hoardings at Everton for CW which were facing the spectators.
