Don't get me started on Newcastle as that may end up with me getting a ban!
Not sure what you are alluding to!!

But I don’t want this going off topic like Poet’s Corner which seems to have sprung up.

So I won’t respond on this thread anymore with football related issues unless it’s about MF & EFC.

I’ve just found out that MF is to have CW produce an Everton themed watch. It’s to be called the ‘Calvert-Lewin’ a ‘dress’ watch that falls to pieces inside the box. 😳 I’ll get me coat, chaps.

@TheBeatles you say about Everton that “…they’re in the Premier League and have played in the top flight of English football for longer than any other club in England.”

I think you will find that there’s only one club in England who have always and only played in the top flight of English football and that club are the only one to have remained undefeated for a whole season this century!! 🤔

Chris it was Phil that said that. Brian is a Newcastle supporter.

However you are correct about the invincibles! :D

My favourite thought was many years before - when they had to get a 2-0 at Anfield in the final match.

I watched that with a Manchester United supporter. :)

Football was far better when winning on the field drove success. Rather than dodgy owners buying it!

Sorry I just looked up and quickly scanned the unread posts for the last 24 hours and didn’t notice it was Phil who said that.
Thank you Neil (and apologies for the message in jest on the most recent Bel Canto thread 🤦‍♂️🤣)

I think ‘it’s you that will find is that what I said was that Everton (founder members of the Football AND Premier League) have played in the top flight of English football for longer than ANY other English club. That includes Arsenal who only came into the said top flight in 1904 (by some very nefarious means incidentally) some 26 years after Everton. Arsenal have had the longest uninterrupted ‘streak’ in the top flight but it is Everton, quite comfortably, who have played more games and been there longer. As us Blues are fond of singing…’know your history.’

That said, I do hope that Arsenal win the League this year. Incidentally…you do know who it was who brought an end to the ‘Invinceables’ run don’t you? 😂😉

^^^^ Now that's rather fine.

Looks like it is C65 based, or is it C60?

I think it’s based on the C65 minus the date function. Looks a very similar dial and the movement is the same.

It is based on a C65..minus date and it is COSC.
