I’m not sure how they will bring out a watch unless they bring one out in 2028 to celebrate the club’s 150th year. The way things are going I’m not convinced they’ll win anything much in the following six years but I live in hope. The Tribus LFC watches were to celebrate their EPL success which unfortunately happened mid-covid, which I believe was the brand’s undoing. Interestingly, I thought that the £7m sponsorship deal would see various LFC players wearing Tribus watches in programmes/publications etc. Apparently the club would not permit this and the only player so send Tribus a photo of him wearing one was Roberto Firminho!

My gosh football is boring
Maybe CW will move into golf at some point to liven things up?
The CW logo and name side by side is on the Everton site now along with the other sponsors.
Maybe too big for the dial with that set up but it does look good as a whole so the Swish only is unlikely to appear around the ground with people wondering what it means.
Probably think it was playstation. Even with the word brand it still might not be clear. Maybe CW Timepieces for publicity material, gradually becoming just CW, rather than the full name.
Just a thought. You really want to sell some quartz watches, don't you, to have the accuracy an official timer would need? COSC quartz maybe, but maybe any quartz would be accurate enough to time 45min football half.

And with one gutting announcement my interest in CW has come to an end. 21 watches currently in the collection and more planned, but now I've no interest.
I know it's childish. I know to many it's 'only' football. But today's a very sad day for me and I'm genuinely massively disappointed. From a full on CW fanboy to not in the time it took me to read a Facebook post.
Arrrrggggghhhhhhh.
Been a distant CW fan for years. Finally pulled the trigger and got 4 in last January sale.
I don't think that there will be more .... not sure about the post -CW era anyway but this deal certainly doesn't help ...

Wow. Bad result for Everton in the states. Did someone win a trip over there to watch it?
Fun little story - I run a local branch of Arsenal America and we organized a tailgate outside M&T Bank Stadium for the Arsenal-Everton match. We are a friendly bunch and some Everton supporters wandered over at some point during the festivities. We fed and beered them and I noticed one was wearing a Christopher Ward new logo cap. Lo and behold it was Peter Ellis, along with the competition winners! Had a fun, quick chat and I think a good time was had by all, at least until we got to kickoff and Arsenal started scoring.
I do genuinely think the sponsorship is a smart move and partnering with Everton in particular is a great way to expand in the states due to their relatively outsized popularity thanks to Tim Howard.

Unfortunately I see Everton have sacked Frank Lampard today. Probably not a surprise given it's a brutal results driven business and I guess we shouldn't feel too sorry for him with a few £m of a pay off he will be entitled to.
Hopefully they can get a decent manager in place and manage to avoid relegation.
Even my son has been noticing the CW advertising on the digital boards around the pitch in some of the matches we've seen on TV.
