Sale of the old models at low prices and the the weakened value of the UK pound probably played a big part in the increased orders from outside the UK.
500k loss when building a brand isn't insurmountable if it was part of the plan, plenty of unicorns out there making a loss yet the investors still froth at the mouth for them ...
