Bracelets for C60 Abyss and C60 Lympstone
I have been advised that CW has produced a gun metal PVD coated steel bracelet for the C60 Abyss and C60 Lympstone models.
These should be launched on pre-order very soon for October delivery!

Re: Bracelets for C60 Abyss and C60 Lympstone
Thanks Kip. I’ve not felt the need for an Abyss bracelet, but will look forward to seeing the photos as I could be persuaded otherwise
Re: Bracelets for C60 Abyss and C60 Lympstone
If I do buy either of these watches then they will be on this bracelet.
I'm now wondering if CW will release another gun metal C60.

I'm seriously tempted for my Abyss! All my recent watch purchases have been on straps so would make a nice change.

This has put the Abyss on the radar. Wasn’t overly impressed with the Strap so looking forward to seeing it on gun metal

While I love the idea of a PVD-coated bracelet, how well will it stand up to daily use? Bracelets can be scratch magnets. Wouldn't DLC be better, or has PVD technology improved over the years?

Re: Bracelets for C60 Abyss and C60 Lympstone
DLC & PVD are typically the same process. Any difference between manufacturers or finishing is in the compounds used for the coatings. So if CW want a "Gunmetal" finish they probably have to use something different from blasted Carbon and yep, probably it will be softer. But both will erode over time no matter how hard as they are only thin (a few microns) coatings.
That's fashion for you

Re: Bracelets for C60 Abyss and C60 Lympstone
My PVD bracelet on my Abyss appears to show less wear than my SS C60 bracelets with roughly the same wrist time. Just my personal observation.

New here, and I hate to dig up an old thread,
but is the bracelet identical between these models?

The C60 Gunmetal bracelet will fit the watches you mention.
From CW's website
However, the (gunmetal) C60 Abyss SH21 uses a different bracelet due to the height / thickness of the case & lugs.

Re: Bracelets for C60 Abyss and C60 Lympstone
Excellent! Thanks. Now it won't make sense to buy them both on a bracelet if they can use the same one.

As Bahnstormer_vRS noted, just be aware that the Abyss SH21 version uses a different bracelet.
