Doors open at 5.30pm for this strictly first come, first served event.

It looks as though CW is selling his personal collection of No 1's together with the stuff that has failed to sell in the NN sales

It's unusual to hold an auction without any information in advance about the lots, other than they are CW watches of some sort. Could be great, could be a waste of time.

I haven't received the email, so when is this happening? Is it a Maidenhead "have to turn up in person" event, rather than being online?

Yep looks like a gathering in person and there is a link in the Email to rsvp with the number of guests you want to take.

If I knew what was for sale it may be worth a trip but going that distance blind no thanks

Kinda sad it's an in-person sale in that pretty well the first words under the CW name is "CHRISTOPHER WARD EXCLUSIVELY AVAILABLE ONLINE".

It is definitely a shame that the auction lots are being kept secret until the doors open. As people have already said, difficult to justify travelling if you don't know what's going to be available.

No reason why it shouldn't be and with online bidding too. So many live streaming - free - programmes these days, it would be so easy to set up.

Unless online utterly silly, what with no listings & being a weeknight. Still , my last slot will be well & truly filled by then so no room anyway! Lol

Don't worry about it not being online as I'm sure a few will quickly appear on eBay.

I'm on days so it's a no here. Have family in Cookham so would have made the effort of I could have attended
