#1 Serial number Charity Auction (Ended Dec. 15)
#1 Serial Number Auction
For the closing chapter of the 10 year anniversary celebrations at CWL, they are planning a charity auction of 10 number #1 serial number watches.
Chris has pulled some great pieces from his collection for this event. You don't see some of these models very often....C4SRS - C1GBT.....C7 Rapide BRG MKI.....to name a few. The original #1 C5 Malvern is not going in this auction. It is staying in Maidenhead, where it belongs, to remain part of the company history.
The auction will be run on https://auctionofpromises.com/ in conjunction with http://www.alexanderdevine.org/, who will receive all the proceeds.
The auction goes live at 00.01 on Monday 8th December
The auction closes at 5pm on Monday 15th December.
Now is your chance to own one of those elusive #1’s and help a great cause during the holidays.

#1 Serial number Charity Auction
Was hoping for the Speedhawk but regardless, a cracking donation by the team.

Re: #1 Serial number Charity Auction
The auction target of £5,000 seems somewhat modest for these classic watches.

I wonder how much Mortis will go up to for the sector?
Wouldn't mind a punt on the C1, C3 or BOB, but it depends how high they go.

Good to read that the original #1 C5 Malvern is not to be auctioned and will remain with the company. All credit to CWL for raising funds for the Alexander Devine Children`s Hospice. An amazing charity and a service that I'm familiar with.

There's £200 gone down on the C8 Blackhawk... three times that needed I reckon (reserve £400 anyway).

Re: #1 Serial number Charity Auction
£50 each has been bid by akirk on the Sector and Trident.
I'm genuinely interested.
If we know that the reserve price of the C60 is £400, what is the point of registering a bid below that. Am I missing something obvious?

OK.
Simple 'Yes' or 'No'.
Am I right by saying that if the bidding doesn't reach £400 then the watch will not go to the highest bidder below £400?
