Re: How do you feel about buying personalized items?
I’ll add, one of my three CWs is engraved. I would have had a second one engraved but it didn’t appear as an option when ordering it.

Re: How do you feel about buying personalized items?
If it was a current model watch, easily acquired without engraving, then I’d pass. If, however, it was something vintage in nature, then I think I’d be intrigued by the engraving. I think it would add to the charm of the watch for me, as I’d want to know more about the back story.

Re: Earliest known wrist shot?
This is the earliest one I can find. That’s me on the left, with my mom and my older brother. We’re taking the ferry to Shelter Island, NY, to visit my grandparents. I’m probably 10, around 1980 maybe. No idea what the watch is. It might be a Mickey Mouse watch. No watch in the second pic, but come ...

How does she afford the watches she has on that income?! Her husband must bring home some serious bucks.

Re: What are you drinking right now....?
It’s called a Paper Plane. I had one out this past weekend and had to try it at home. Three quarter ounce each of bourbon, Aperol, Amaro Montenegro, and fresh lemon juice. Shake vigorously and strain into a coupe or martini glass. It’s delightful. The balance is incredible. FBB4D382-F242-4B46-909C-C...

Re: CW now has short straps in stock!
The new CW XS Vintage Oak is a possibility, at only 180mm overall, but will anyone please tell me the length of the two sections? Guy Sorry for the delay in getting back to you, Guy. It completely slipped my mind. I just measured the vintage oak strap that came with my 36mm Sealander. It’s 110/70mm...

Re: Bader buckle
^^^^ The different strap lengths mess it all up. That is, using a Bader Deployant on a regular 80/125 or 85/120 strap, puts the Bader in the 'wrong' place on your wrist.. I know you can't put a normal tang on a bader strap, because there is no cutout for the pin, (and no keepers), but if there was ...

Re: Bader buckle
No idea, I guess they consider it a dress clasp and most of the lineup is in the sport range?? The last time I am aware of it being offered was on the C5 Malvern Revival. I like a deployant clasp, just so much easier than a fiddly pin buckle. I put this on my Zenith from StrapsCo. Nice quality and ...
