Re: C9 Worldtimer vs C1 Worldtimer vs C1 Worldglow

Thanks for your valuable feedback Jasper & Guy.

I do like the C9 graphic, but not sure the independent airport code dial is particularly useful.

I would struggle to choose between the C1s.

A bit more pondering to be done I think!

Re: C9 Worldtimer vs C1 Worldtimer vs C1 Worldglow

Sorry, forgot to mention that I'm after a WT with the geographical image on the dial, so that rules out C8 WTs

C9 Worldtimer vs C1 Worldtimer vs C1 Worldglow

Hi
For my next CW I'm considering a Worldtimer.

I'm interested in people's feedback on the 3 WT's I'm aware of ( C9 WT, C1 WT, C1 WGlow) - pros/cons etc

Thanks
Tony

Re: First C1 Bel Canto resold

re comments from Didier.O - made to order rather than restrictive LE runs would definitely be beneficial to us CW nuts, in my opinion, but not sure CW would be able to support/resource the business model when they offer change their offerings as frequently as they do. Or at least their made to order...

Re: How often do you see strangers wearing a CW?

Spotted a lovely PP on the arm of a chap I had meeting with through work. He was delighted to have somebody appreciate his choice of watch, although knowing his character, I think it was more about advertising his wealth, rather than a true horologist. Still, at least it wasn't the usual 'must have'...

Re: How often do you see strangers wearing a CW?

Does your father-in-law count as a stranger? Oh and the fact that I bought him his first CW watch for his birthday, probably discounts him. Anyway, he will be v pleased on his upcoming birthday, as I have wrapped him up a nice C20 auto which I acquired from ebay recently. I must admit to swapping ou...

Re: How often do you see strangers wearing a CW?

Having worn CWs for 17 yrs now, was delighted to spot a Super Compressor on the arm of a chap shopping for glasses in SpecSavers UK. He was a bit taken back and wary of me when I first approached him and complimented his choice of watch. Once he knew that I knew my CWs he was very welcoming then. So...

Re: C20 Bracelet

Thanks thomcat00. The person I bought the C20 FLE from also had a C20 Auto on bracelet up for sale at the same time, but foolishly I went in on a MAKE OFFER rather that BUY NOW, and lost out by a small margin - really regretting my decision now. The C20 AUTO (non-FLE) would have made a fantastic pre...

C20 Bracelet

Hi Everybody Despite owning ten CW's and having been a massive CW fan since I bought my first CW (C4 Peregrine) back in 2005, I have only just joined the forum. I have been aware of the forum and the extremely helpful posts for many years and return often. About time I signed up - now done, finally ...
