Re: CWL of the day
I’m really surprised but I prefer the all-grey to the Bond strap. What does the peanut gallery think?

Re: CWL of the day
Put the Dartmouth on a NATO* strap and took the kid for a walk. Good call on the gray color. I’ll put the Bond version on later. 813CB856-4524-43E4-ADB3-A8E358DF8BD2.jpeg *this strap is a two-piece strap and therefore does not meet NATO specifications. I do not care and will continue to call it a tw...

Re: Happy birthday NationOfLaws!
Thanks everyone! I plan to celebrate by taking the Tudor in to get some new links added to its bracelet, then taking a long nap.

Re: Halios Seaforth IV
The Halios site is kind of wonky on mobile. I had to send them a note on their contact page because I couldn’t find a way to sign up for updates. Interesting watches for sure.

It seemed like the kind of answer you give when you’re tired of being asked the question. I thought the interview was refreshingly candid, and I don’t have a problem with ego coming from someone who’s earned it. When I talked to the head of Monta he gave me the impression that Mike is brilliant but ...

…but don’t have any good, big cubes right now so I went up instead of compromising. I usually have a big block of clear ice that I cut down for cocktails, but my freezer has been so full lately that I don’t have the room to make any. It’s incredible frustrating. Nothing worse than a dearth of quali...

Re: What are you drinking right now....?
Yeah, super easy, actually. Equal parts (I use an ounce) of each: Aperol, Cocchi, and Hardshore Gin (any gin that isn’t garbage will do). Stir in a mixing glass with ice, strain into a cold glass. I prefer rocks but don’t have any good, big cubes right now so I went up instead of compromising.
