Re: Advice on Twelve Purchase
Watch size is largely fashion driven but, there is an element of practicality and proportion. Either size would likely work for you, so go for the colour that you like.

Re: Seaweed sealander coming soon
Just seen the emil. I like the look but two bronze watches don't get a lot of attention so I'm still thinking about the SH21 V2 and of course.... THE FLE Definitely the SH21 V2 (I’m imagining a lower profile) and possibly a C60 600 MK 4, alternatively, one of the Aquitaine knock ups in the dream CW...

Re: Seaweed sealander coming soon
They wouldn’t. Blanks are made and painted, then any necessary additions like printing are made afterwards.
This is why it’s a 39mm, as I don’t recall the “hunter green” being available in 36mm previously.

Re: Seaweed sealander coming soon
A bronze 'hunter' green C63. I'd imagine that there are a few green dials that need to be used up. The new logo is definitely visible so they can’t just use the regular dials. I assume it’d have gold indices instead of the regular color as well I believe that the dials would all be painted first an...

Re: Buying my first CW and first mechanical watch
Hi first time poster on here :D Over the last few months I have tried on various watches & watched countless you tube reviews on watches. But now my heat is finally set on a C60 trident pro 300 (black dial) this is going to be a gift to myself for my 40th birthday. I just have a few questions I...

Re: HOW MUCH!!?? (service shock)...
I very much doubt anything was actually needing repair, as such. My point was that a service is the most labour intensive work that will be done on a watch, save for actually having to make a part from scratch. I've also noticed that CW seem to default to telling customers that their watches need se...

Re: HOW MUCH!!?? (service shock)...
It's not just a service innit. It's not a running watch sent in for some fresh oil and a demagnesation. It's a broken watch sent in for repair. UKP 550 doesn't sound unreasonable A repair, in isolation, should always be cheaper than a service, as a watch service requires a full strip down of each a...

Re: Fill in The Gap...
I appreciate that there is the C63 Sealander now, but this C65 Classic in white, made in a 36mm size, would be awesome. This is the potential patient for the heart transplant, although it looks massive on my wrist. I might still try to get a 36mm Sealander for the project... https://i.imgur.com/SX5I...

Re: HOW MUCH!!?? (service shock)...
My take on this: - A estimate of £180 was provided without taking into account the specific watch. - The watch has been sent in and inspected. A quote of £550 has now been provided. - If the OP doesn’t want the work carried out (CW issue an invoice and require payment up front IIRC) all he has to d...

Re: HOW MUCH!!?? (service shock)...
Just sent my approx 5 year old C60 Pro Chrono (The Beast) for a service as the chrono refuses to run. I also asked for a new crystal to be fitted as it had a tiny chip in it. Katie from customer services indicated that the service on this model would be around £180. So, I was more than a bit shocke...
