Re: Non CW of the Day

Taking my 5 year old to Brands Hatch today to see some racing cars for the first time (his first time, not mine). Picked the chronograph out for the occasion.

Re: Bel Canto watches@

Out of interest, what is the rough cadence of the 6 emails? I placed an order back in late March/early April of this year for delivery November this year (not holding my breath) and haven’t received anything

Re: The Christopher Ward of Pens

I’m tempted to dip my toe in - perhaps a TWSBI diamond as a relatively low cost entry point (to a potential rabbit hole that I hope not to fall in to) The TWSBI (pronounced "Twizbee") Diamond 580 ALR is a good choice as somewhere to start. The nib units can be bought separately (and relat...

Re: The Christopher Ward of Pens

I think it was me who introduced Lindsey to this rabbit hole, but she had the strength of character to get out before it was too late! It was you Steve, and I found a bunch of friendly people on a pretty vast forum (I had no idea that pens were a even a 'thing' ). The best thing about t...

Re: The Christopher Ward of Pens

I have:- Fountain Pen Gel Pen Ballpoint Pen Propelling Pencil All the same model made by Cross, very happy with quality. Dependable and reliable, not sure of their collectibility as a brand tho. Thanks. I think I once bought my wife a Cross pen which she loved. Perhaps my use of the word collection...

The Christopher Ward of Pens

Forgive me if this post does not make sense, but I am curious so please hear me out… On a lot of watch forums/groups, there is often a “what do you collect apart from watches” question posed. From what I can observe, two of the most popular answers included tend to be knives and pens. Now knives do ...

Re: FARER UNIVERSAL

Had my Farer Lander Midnight for a few months now and absolutely love it. Thought I would start to hijack this thread to talk more about all things Farer, starting with this mini review The dial The green Lander IV gets the most attention in this range, but I think the Midnight deserves its place in...

Echo the above question - are you sure you were logged in? I have ordered before, thinking I was logged in, but the order never showed under “My Account”

Re: Non CW of the Day

New (to me) Farer Chalcot from their Chrono-contempo line. I’m a big Farer fan and this didn’t disappoint. Great dimensions. Lovely colours. Interesting dial. A range of textures. Beautiful (given the price) view of the movement through the case back. Super comfortable on the integrated rubber strap...

Interesting. Our very own Kip ran a CW showroom in Nashua, NH between 2014 and 2016.
Ah. Hopefully I did not misquote!

New CW Showroom - Dallas

Just listened to the excellent Scottish Watches Podcast interview with Mike France. As you would expect, very insightful and focussed on the Twelve X. One "exclusive" that Mike revealed at the end is that CW have just (or are just about to) sign a lease on their "first CW showroom in ...
