Re: New C1 Moonglow in Celestial Blue

Wow! That’s beautiful. Out of my price range though. I’ll be excited to see pics of this in the wild.

Re: Winter Sale - Extreme Disappointment

They are creating FOMO by only having a sale twice a year which encourages people to purchase stuff they may not have otherwise purchased. That’s a really good point! Re: Winter Sale - Extreme Disappointment

Look, this affects me not at all because I'm not in the market at the moment, but I've been reading a lot of grumpiness here and on Reddit about these sales. Obviously not a representative sample of the overall population. Anyway, here's my hot take: For a company who drives the vast majority of it...

That’s a pretty good selection! Nothing’s tempting me to open my wallet though.

39mm, 45mm lug to lug, 20mm lug width and 11mm height. Just about perfect.

Re: Farer Roche World Timer

That’s a lovely watch. Normally I find Farer’s colors too bold for my tastes, but not this. Just lovely! Enjoy it.

Re: CW 2024 Forum Watch of the Year

I voted for the twelve. It’s not a watch that particularly appeals to me as I’m not a fan of skeleton dials, however this was CW shoehorning their in house movement in one of their more popular ranges and going to town with the whole design. It was intended as something of a halo model for their 20...

We will be spending our first Christmas in our new home NOT in our home! Later today we’re driving down to Virginia to spend Christmas Eve and part of Christmas Day at my parents’. My son is driving up from Richmond to be there, while my daughter and her fiancé are currently on a Christmas markets r...
