So much for a forum with a sense of community and values eh? I can't believe how lacking in respect you are to post the price on here, and in doing so rubbing the sellers nose in it that he's missed out on a £116 he could have had in the price difference. At least I had the decency to offer the seller what some on here considered to be a reasonable market value at £315, whilst clearly you were just looking to exploit him. Pretty pathetic, you need to grow up and show some courtesy.
As for paw3001's PM's that this was a rare highly collectable watch worth £400 plus that he was trying to get out of me, that price has been shot out of the water as totally unrealistic. Sadly, it seems a handful of people on here just look to exploit others.

Just caught up with all of this on my boring night shift - found it very entertaining if slightly 'mental'! Cheers all!
I miss all the great things that may never be.

It is the seller who determines the price, not the buyer. If the seller is happy to sell, and does the right thing by selling to someone who meets his criteria, that's it.
Get over it!

hmmm, Antony , it sounds like you are saying that JAG should have told the seller that he was underpricing his watch and then offered him an extra £100 or so over his asking price.
Expecting this to happen is a touch 'naive', no?
