So I got 3 watches during the winter sale. The first two were c60 trident pro 300s. At the end of the initial sale I also got a nearly new c65 Aquitaine in seagrass green. It was listed as that watch on a black tropic rubber strap and was marked down from $960 to $624. I felt that was a good discount and went for it.

I was quite happy when I received it and opened the box to find that they had sent that watch on a bader bracelet. At the listed price I was charged that came to nearly half off.

While I guess its possible CW made a mistake, I would like to think they were just being cool and decided to hook me up.

What would you have done if it had been the other way around i.e. you'd bought the Aquitaine on a bracelet and received it on a (cheaper) strap?

Maybe CW has a discrepancy in their inventory / Stock?

It certainly does. Im a great person and this was clearly the universe rewarding me.

Ill eventually shoot them an email about it I guess. The bracelet is already very scratched though.

Could be that the only tropic straps hanging around at CW had no keepers like my Worldtimer order.

In your case, someone thought better of sending it out to a customer like that.
Keep the bracelet (keep schtum) and enjoy.
