Wrist size - C90 Beckett's
Wrist size - C90 Beckett's
Hi all,
Just after you opinions. I'm in love with the white faced C90 Beckett's - Power Reserve. my only concern is that I only have about a 7 - 7.5 inch wrist.
Just wondering if it will look too big?
I already have a 43mm watch but it is not as deep and the seems to sit OK on me.
Anyway, your thoughts would be appreciated.
Many thanks.
Simon.

Re: Wrist size - C90 Beckett's
Hi, Simon - welcome to the forum. I have a 7.25 in wrist and I have a C8 which is 1mm bigger and wears fine. Don't forget you have the 60-60 guarantee...if it doesn't fit send it straight back unused!

Re: Wrist size - C90 Beckett's
I thinnk you will be fine with that if you are already used to a 43mm watch.
I too have small wrists, I picked up a c90 in the NN sale, but although I loved the watch overall, I couldn't get on with the numbers and the 12 was misaligned so I returned it. Shame as it is a lovely piece.
At the end of it all, beauty is in the eye of the beholder, so get one - if you decide its not right, just return it - the process is easy and works.
Good luck with the purchase!

Im gutted i missed the sale actually. I think I spotted these watches too late. Never mind. So was it just your piece that was misaligned? I assume so.. did you choose something in its place?

There's at least one Nearly New still available at 30% off. Go for it!

Hello Simon
Here you go, it's still available as 'Nearly New' - what a bargain:
http://www.christopherward.co.uk/nnc90swk.html
You can't go wrong. And you'd probably be pleasantly surprised at how nice the fit is to be honest - I had a C9 Auto for a while and although being on the upper end of the 'size' scale at 43mm (exactly the same case as the C90 you like), it was by no means big, and I've got pretty normal, if not slightly small wrists.
The white face is gorgeous, I can't see you being disappointed at all. Keep us all posted!

Hi All,
Apologies, not been on line for a few days. The nearly new looks an incredible price. I may just try it and see. It does no harm I guess. (curse these tiny arms!)

Re: Wrist size - C90 Beckett's
From what I can gather "Nearly New" generally means pieces that have been used for, say, promotional purposes.
I bought my C5 NN in January at 2/3 the normal price, and it was perfect. I think the vast majority of people would say the same.

Re: Wrist size - C90 Beckett's
Was the Misaligned number part of the NN deal, or is it the watch design?Bonny wrote:I thinnk you will be fine with that if you are already used to a 43mm watch.

Thanks. Do the NN sales happen only in January. Does anyone know what they do with the watches that are returned?Amor Vincit Omnia wrote:From what I can gather "Nearly New" generally means pieces that have been used for, say, promotional purposes.
