Although I prefer the original trident second hand, if given a choice, I am certainly not seeing this an issue of any type. The new hand first appeared on the C60 Chronograph (released in January) and no one noticed, or at least no comments made that I am aware of. It took me a month before I noticed it myself.

I have no idea why it was changed.....not going yo be concerned.......don't care. It is no better or worse imo, just different.

Cost cutting I imagine.

Horses for courses........ different looks needed for different face styles, no saying at the moment that the C60 trident ones will be changing. As for cost cutting, they can probably save a lot more than the cost differential between these hands elsewhere on the watches.

Well why else change it at all? It's clearly a more simple/ weaker design if only minutely, I imagine money has been saved via a new way of mass producing them, maybe it's quicker for a laser cutter to do rounded corners rather than angles or maybe it wastes less materials?

The waves on the dial have gone, the crown isn't signed. Cost cutting lol.

Style?

Don't like the style but can understand the change, the C65 mk1 was more closely related to the C60 so could use the same handset but the mk2 is markedly different (for better or worse) and the hands change is central to that shift.

Indeed sir. The roundness of its new design does match the roundness of the new logo font, if true then top marks for considering every aspect of the design (that's IF they knew about the new logo a month before the C60 chrono release and changed it back then)

Probably because the central area of the dial on the chrono is so busy, it gets lost!

I can honestly say I did notice it on the new watch, probably because it's more prominent and actually thought it didn't look right so checked it against my C60. My considered opinion? The new design is a piece of poo. It's didn't need fixing, brushed or not.
