I really doubt any C60s will be discounted that low, even NN.
Why are all Tridents 50% off?

Why are all Tridents 50% off?
Not good business but I guess it happens.
From the CWL terms and conditions that everyone agreed to when they created an account to buy a watch but probably never read.
"If an error is discovered in the price of goods or services that you have ordered, we will inform you as soon as possible. We will be under no obligation to fulfil and order for a product or service that was advertised at the incorrect price. In the event that you order an item and the price published either website is incorrect for any reason, we will e-mail you to inform you that we have not accepted the order and that your order has been cancelled. You may re-order it if you wish. In the unlikely event that you have paid for the goods or services, in the circumstances described in this clause, we will refund you as soon as practicable. Should you choose to re-order at the correct price, a separate transaction will be posted to your credit card."
From a Telegraph article last year re screwfix
"Online:
The situation is not as clear-cut online.
The legally binding contract is complete when a retailer accepts an order. However, acceptance does not necessarily happen at the point of order. Even the confirmation email may not be an acceptance. Some retailers reserve the right to cancel an order up to the point of delivery. It is therefore important to carefully check the retailer’s terms and conditions (which must be available on their website) and emails – if a retailer simply acknowledges an order, there may be no contract at that point.
According to Screwfix’s terms and conditions on its website this week, it only accepts orders once it has delivered the goods. It says the processing of a payment and acknowledgement of an order does not constitute a legally binding contract.
As with in-store purchases, once a customer has received their order a retailer generally has no right to claw back any money."
I have not verified the information that they supposedly verified, I just found it interesting so don't shoot the messenger.
And yes if there is a 50% off sale I want an orange C60 Quartz or a slimline.
Edited.
I am in no way defending CWL, I think they should be past things like this by now but they aren't alone in online glitches as any Google search will show you. I just think everyone should understand the terms they agreed to.

I'd love to buy something in the preview sale when/if it arrives but I'm not paid till late on the 30th and I have to use the most of it on a loan to my 'future' mother-in-law !

Ferg. Good god man. Normally they have their daughter drag you kicking and screaming down the aisle before they tap you for cash!MiniMpi wrote:I'd love to buy something in the preview sale when/if it arrives but I'm not paid till late on the 30th and I have to use the most of it on a loan to my 'future' mother-in-law !
This does NOT bode well.

I suppose the irony is not lost that when the sale did go live most of the 50% off models were Tridents?

She gave me a loan before Christmas when I burst a tyre in a pothole.
I have to repay her.

Bloody hell! That is even worse!!! You can't owe her money at this point. Ooh, the mind boggles.MiniMpi wrote:Haha no it was the other way round.smegwina wrote:Ferg. Good god man. Re: Why are all Tridents 50% off?
Late to the party but will post anyway...I saw the website error, thought about it, but decided to sleep on it before I pulled. The next day the glitch was fixed. I for one am glad I didn't pull because had I gotten an email saying our bad that probably would've hacked me off. I just made some online purchases, saw a few days later a cheaper price on the same website, and called the company for the difference which they gladly refunded.
