I keep looking at the hunter green C63 Sealander?

I'm very fond of my C63 Elite, I like the white dial Sealander but don't think it's going to find a home with me, likewise the black dial. I do very much keep looking at the distressed green dial and I'd welcome owner feedback and especially real world photos please.

Then I'd have to deal with the 3-hand or GMT dial decision: I can see that the extra burst of orange will make a huge difference to how it looks.

And then the bracelet or green strap decision: I think I'd wear it on the green strap but momma told me always to buy on bracelet.

Honestly, this is the only CW watch I've had the buying itch for for almost 2 months, ever since picking up a C60 Tide.

I've got the C63 Auto with the Hunter Green dial and I bloomin' love it!

I've had it since Christmas and it is still one of my favourite watches to wear. In fact, I've put it on a winder now so it's always ready to go. The only other watch I keep on a winder is my C1 Moonglow.

The size and design is great, but it's the colour and texture of the dial that really draws me in.

I usually wear it on a bracelet, as I do for nearly all my watches. Having said that, here's a picture I took of it on a Hirsch James strap when I first got it:


And here's one on the bracelet under slightly odd artificial light:

I bought it with the green strap and love it that way. It also looks great on brown leather and black silicone straps from my strap box. I was pleasantly surprised to find the bracelet from both my C60 sapphire and my Mk3 C60 GMT fit it as well.

Just a really nice looking little 3 hander. Excellent case finishing of course, and the etched dial adds interest. I think it might be a little more of a muted green than pics suggest, but a very nice shade nonetheless.

C63 GMT green here. Still gets most of the wrist time from watches in my collection.

Oh, and being a GMT I can use it rather easily as a compass as well. So, three tools in one (watch, GMT and a compass). I know all watches can be used but GMT is a bit more straightforward.

I think we’re in similar boats. I planned to get one for Christmas, but it was out of stock for months. Then I decided to wait for the sale in January and the one watch I really wanted to turn up, C65 Chrono, did turn up so I grabbed it and the watch fund hit zero.

Now it’s back in stock. I’m currently training to climb Mt Toubkal with a view to doing Everest Base Camp next year and I ‘need’ an expedition watch. I think this will fit the bill. I thought of a Seiko Alpinist, but I’ve settled back with a CW. Oddly I’ve never liked the ombré dial until I saw this one. It may still be a risk, but these pictures are really helping. I’m also a green strap fan as I like the extra orange and I can’t afford/don’t need another GMT!

It’s my birthday in a couple of weeks so I think we know what will happen. (Providing it stays in stock).

I had the green three hander, didn‘t like it (too washed out labels and overall look of the dial, the non-GMT bezel looks somehow uncompleted). Returned it for black GMT - best decision ever!
The green non GMT gave me +12 spd, whereas the black GMT gives +0,5spd after six (!!!) days.

That as well, the GMT movement seems rather accurate and even better then COSC on +/- per day. Considering it's rated far out of COSC, great result!

Mine is at +1 SPD after a week, including weekend with less wear. And the power reserve is as advertised, 56hrs.

Just a big fan of the complication, in general..and of course, I appreciate the both the design & the execution of the bezel..good luck hunting!!..

Excellent! Not so much "hunting" as "signing in at CW and buying" in fact and as ajax87 tells us that C60 bracelets fit I'm going straight to GMT on green fabric strap.

This one is at the top of my list. It checks all the boxes for me, and I can't wait to snag one. My birthday is at the end of the month, so hopefully it'll be soon.
