Which LOCO colour would you pick?
Which LOCO colour would you pick?
Thought I would create a poll to gauge interest in the different colour variants.

Re: Which LOCO colour would you pick?
We've seen some excellent pics and some really ropy ones (I get that the lighting was poor on Tuesday evening
). My initial choice was all about the white. But on seeing them lined up the white looks like it may wear a bit larger (maybe as you'd expect). The orange, to me, looks like it might contrast the dial 'furniture' a bit more clearly.
Then there was Rich's close up of the Orange and I was smit.

The orange and blue really stand out for me. But the orange would be my choice. Hope this shade of orange is used again albeit on a different model as whilst the Loco is aesthetically and technically impressive it does not tempt me.

Usually I'm not keen on orange dial watches. But I saw the Mad Watch Collector's video on the orange Loco and thought the shade used was really nice.

Re: Which LOCO colour would you pick?
I've ordered the orange. The blue was very impressive, a lovely shade, and likely more versatile, but I have other watches for versatility, so orange it is.

Re: Which LOCO colour would you pick?
I’ve ordered the Pasadena blue. Having seen all four at the preview, the orange really stood out, it’s stunning, but was just a little bit too much for me. It is the ultimate “statement” piece though. One for the real extrovert
White is likely the “sleeper” colour, at first you’re not sure then when you look again, it has a real charm.
Black is definitely the sensible, elegant, wear anytime dial, and if you wanted to have the engineering but keep it restrained it’s perfect. It might be a little bit too gray in some light though .
So blue is the one for me… versatile, elegant, almost as stunning as the orange, but also just that little bit less brash.
Now it’s just a matter of waiting for it to arrive

Re: Which LOCO colour would you pick?
It was the Pasadena Blue for me too as soon as I saw it.
I didn’t connect at all with the white. I’m not sure why but compared to the other 3 something felt a little lacking.
The black was lovely and understated but having a Nero Bel Canto I wanted something a little livelier.
If I lived somewhere hot and sunny, I’d possibly have gone for the orange which looks beautiful in real life, but I wanted something a little less in your face yet still a bit out there and the blue fits the bill perfectly for me.

Thanks for that photo, much better than the one I took and re-affirms our choices are correct on the Pasadena

Re: Which LOCO colour would you pick?
I think this is a watch meant to be SEEN. Meant to be a conversation piece. I think the orange shouts the loudest. I really like the orange shade here so I would pick that.

Re: Which LOCO colour would you pick?
I like the orange but the colour doesn't work for me. I was really tempted by the white but haven't yet seen a pic that fully convinces me - am I right it is more of a matte finish so no brushed finish like the other colours? So blue for me.

Re: Which LOCO colour would you pick?
Yes it is more of a matte finish. It's also much nicer for real than any/all of the photos I've seen of it.
The dial indices are also black on this model only, so enhances the legibility even further.
However, blue is absolutely gorgeous and the colour I've pre-ordered

Re: Which LOCO colour would you pick?
I’ve never been a fan of orange, but in the marketing photos, the orange actually looks nice.
I love blue, so I was originally going to order the blue version. But honestly, these colors are a bit too loud and bubble gum-y for my taste.
The white looks nice too, but since I’m not completely sold on this release and might end up selling the watch later, I decided to go with the safer option: black. It’s the most versatile and serious-looking of the bunch — more grown-up, in a way.
That said, I believe a more textured dial (either guilloché, the twin flags logo texture, or even a mixture of textures) would really elevate the look and give the watch that “something” it feels like it’s missing.
To me, the Bel Canto is visually the better-looking of the two. With the C12 Loco, something feels a bit off. Maybe it’s the vertical stacking — first you have the slope between the upper and lower parts of the case, then you have the two thin bridges underneath. It creates three distinct horizontal divisions, and maybe just one bridge would’ve been enough? I’m not sure. I just find myself loving the BC more.
I can also see how these two models might end up cannibalizing each other’s customer base. If I were new to CW, I would choose the Bel Canto first before considering this one. And for those who already own the BC, it might be hard to justify buying the C12 too — especially if price is a factor.
Still, I’m excited to see it in person. Who knows — maybe it’ll surprise me!

Re: Which LOCO colour would you pick?
Well I've gone for the orange, I'm not usually impressed with bright colours but this one definitely caught my attention. With the orange strap I think it's too much colour so have gone for the bracelet and black strap which I think will contrast and tone it down a touch. Just a pity I've got to wait until October for it
Re: Which LOCO colour would you pick?
I went for the orange on bracelet with a black and orange strap. However, I think the orange on a white strap would work well. This combination looked nicely toned down on the configurator.

Re: Which LOCO colour would you pick?
Went with white on steel because I think I plan to wear it a lot (just wish it didn't have a screw-down crown). Have so many other CWs in cool colors, but the only white one is the original SH21 5-day. Looking forward to this one.
