I have never bought a wristwatch considering its size. If it works, it works. Fashion is just a racket and I couldn't care less.

I just love the Fuji 56mm f1.2 lens. Probably my favourite ever lens.

As it happens I’ve never tried it for any watch shots as I tend to use my 35mm f1.4 for any ‘product’ stuff.

Will definitely give it a go soon though!

These two represent the wearable poles of my collection size-wise. The 1966 Longines is 33mm and the C60 43mm. They serve very different purposes but I am comfortable wearing either.

I never understood the whole "is this watch too big/too small" question.

I have worn everything from 29 mm square Darwil to 62 mm Vodolaz on my wrist and never did care how it looked if I could wear it and feel comfortable with it on wrist.

But to each it's own...

Some people are totally obsessed on the whole size thing , the times I've read " I can't wear that it's 44mm " etc etc yawn .
Try it on then decide . Its not an exact science .

lug to lug length is a far better indicator as to how the watch will fit in my opinion, not the diameter.

The ones he posted 6.5 years ago? What's with all the thread resurrections this afternoon?

The forum has become a time machine.

I think the other day @iain created a rip in the space/time vortex

@mvlow is still posting, and referenced his old thread today. I think a few of us must have looked at the old thread, and liked what we saw.

Sorry, I’ll dig out the old Delorean and try to fix it later.

Just make sure you haven’t been won’t be drinking reannual wine, or you’ll end up start out with the kind of hangunder not even Mrs Cake could talk you out of into.

I for one welcome the resurrection. I knew that phone cameras distorted, but never understood the extent and the examples posted was informative.

Now if I can only convince people my head isn't THAT big...
My wife thinks I have a watch problem. I'm a glass half-full guy, I think of it as a healthy interest in horology ;)
