I have never bought a wristwatch considering its size. If it works, it works. Fashion is just a racket and I couldn't care less.

I just love the Fuji 56mm f1.2 lens. Probably my favourite ever lens.
As it happens I’ve never tried it for any watch shots as I tend to use my 35mm f1.4 for any ‘product’ stuff.
Will definitely give it a go soon though!

These two represent the wearable poles of my collection size-wise. The 1966 Longines is 33mm and the C60 43mm. They serve very different purposes but I am comfortable wearing either.

Re: When people ask if their watches look too big.
I never understood the whole "is this watch too big/too small" question.
I have worn everything from 29 mm square Darwil to 62 mm Vodolaz on my wrist and never did care how it looked if I could wear it and feel comfortable with it on wrist.
But to each it's own...

Some people are totally obsessed on the whole size thing , the times I've read " I can't wear that it's 44mm " etc etc yawn .
Try it on then decide . Its not an exact science .

lug to lug length is a far better indicator as to how the watch will fit in my opinion, not the diameter.

@mvlow is still posting, and referenced his old thread today. I think a few of us must have looked at the old thread, and liked what we saw.

Sorry, I’ll dig out the old Delorean and try to fix it later.

I for one welcome the resurrection. I knew that phone cameras distorted, but never understood the extent and the examples posted was informative.

My wife thinks I have a watch problem. I'm a glass half-full guy, I think of it as a healthy interest in horology ;)
