Re: What you would like to see in 2012 (Part 1)
I reckon there's enough ideas in this thread to keep a design team going for about 5 years - so let's hope everyone finds SOMETHING they like!

I would like to give my vote for ladies automatic too, not too big.
Otherwise some thing original for the gents range (lots of ideas here already), if not then can we just have the C20 FLE as a C20 CW LE again please, please, please!

Why is this tread titled "2012 FLE - part II?
but it doesn't discuss the actual 2012 FLE that is due to come available in Feb/March?
At the VERY least, shouldn't this be titled something like "potential NEXT 2012 FLE" or similar?
Nevermind. I see it IS changed to "what would you like to see..."

Hi ndabunka, guess you got confused with the other thread by Yoda here http://www.christopherwardforum.com/vie ... =1&t=10344ndabunka wrote:but it doesn't discuss the actual 2012 FLE that is due to come available in Feb/March?

I started this thread last December for some random brain-storming and has nothing to do with the FLE

I would be very likely to purchase any/all of the following:
1. a divers watch, 40MM, automatic, rubber strap or nato strap option. with a lock down crown similar to panerai, with day/date if possible.
2. 38 or 39mm moonphase with an really intricate face, and contrasting blue & silver hands on a silver dial. with a really strong anti-reflective crystal coating like breitlings or IWC.
3. titanium case driving watch, 7750 chronograph, numerals at he 12/3/6/9, date (white on black), leather punched strap with red or white stitching and red or white punch through coloring, red & silver hands, CF or black anodized face, brushed bezel/body. ultra thin bezel would be unique. again with a strongly anti-reflective crystal like breitlings or IWC.
a moonphase that mimics/copies the design of the Zenth Captain http://gizmodo.com/5875481/the-possibil ... arily-high down to the color of the hands would be amazing.
i can really only wear watches that are 40mm x 12mm max. 42 has to be relatively thin and well designed, and 44+ is extremely hit or miss on my wrist, but obviously that's not necessarily true of the market, just my feedback.

Yep, cross posted as I was looking at both threads in different windows. I just didn't see a way to delete my entire post so I begged forgiveness...Aifo wrote:Hi ndabunka, guess you got confused with the other thread by Yoda here http://www.christopherwardforum.com/vie ... =1&t=10344ndabunka wrote:but it doesn't discuss the actual 2012 FLE that is due to come available in Feb/March?

Re: What you would like to see in 2012
I'm thinking maybe a mechanical/auto chronograph (two register, rather than three) based on the ever popular C60 case, without the diver bezel, but with a 12 hour bezel. Black or silver (or white) dial, with the registers opposite colored, coloured for you lot over there. ETA 2824-2 or better, with a modification for the chronograph functions. I suppose one could use the 7750 engine, but here is a chance for the CWL design team to execute another wowser like the Jump Hour watch. Maybe with a 24 hour dial? Or one of each!

Re: What you would like to see in 2012
A regulator and a retrograde (automatics) as I don't have either yet
Re: What you would like to see in 2012
Another vote for a 38-40mm diver, thin case and/or well-rounded lugs to suit a smaller wrist, but has to be automatic, and Swiss-made (of course!). Ideally with a blue bezel and wavy face, but I guess this is too close to the 2012FLE so unlikely to happen... Oh well, I guess I'll just have to keep dreaming about an SMP

Another vote for a 38-40mm diver from me too. I recently got a c5 aviatior which i love. due to my skinny wrists i can only see a c3 as another possible purchase. In some ways this is good as it saves me money

Re: What you would like to see in 2012
I would like to see a world in which everyone lived in harmony and spread love around the globe.
A world in which everyone lived happily forever.
A world in which work was banned and everyone hung around at street corners smiling at the pretty women as they walked by.
A world where money didn't exist and the currency was joyfullness to all.
A world in which Tottenham Hotspur won the newly reinstated European Cup every year and that Gareth Bale played on forever.
A world....Oh for Gawd's sake shut up,
Just give me a scooter blue and give it to me NOW.
