A seiko skx009 or a mondaine quartz have longer heritage and yet are cheaper. Personally I feel the c900 to be no better value than the bremont. Lack of decoration on the dial and movement plus it price of more than 500 pounds extra over a Hanhart monopusher (a brand with a nice bit of heritage) leave me a bit sour.

If someone ones to buy a bremont victory and stick it in a safe then let them, its their money.
Thank you for your contribution I always appreciate what people say. It all depends on your definition of heritage in this case it's, something that is reserved for a particular person or group, hence, who would wear on not wear the watch. As for sticking it into a safe, each to their own.

It was your posts of your beautiful Harrison over on omega that brought me here!
I have an omega cosmic that I bought as NOS with stickers still on. I was going to keep it as new, but I just can't help but wear it. I try to be careful with it and would take it off before doing the plumbing but if I'm only in the office then what's the point of owning if you cannot enjoy it?
You too have a great watch, the investment is in the enjoyment by wear it. You can't take it to the grave.
