Last report then I’ll leave it alone. Set my watch to time.is atomic clock on saturday night at 10.00 by Sunday 10 am about 12 hrs later was already 14s slow and now at 2pm is 17s behind. Dont suppose its magnetized , would run fast ?? Anyway, some time when I get the chance I’ll try and have it checked out. Cheers all.

Can any owners of the following CW watches advise on how you have found their accuracy ( The Twelve and C60 Trident Pro 300)

I understand results vary but just interested to get a bit of feedback from a few people at least ,to my mind the spec of the SW200-1 +/- 20sec per day is not acceptable that would lose over 2 minutes a week worst case scenario surely the majority must be vastly better than that

Is it still under warranty? If so you could get CW to repair/adjust/regulate.

My C60 Trident 300 (COSC) is averaging just over 1spd, this includes overnight rest (dial down) and also some time on the winder (vertical type).

My C63 Sealander is around 5spd. Although it wasn't previously - see my post further up.

Was it fully wound when you set it.

Watches exhibit their best running and accuracy when more than 50% wound.

Been wearing it during the day and taking it of at night , resting on its back. Its now 7 pm here in France and its now 25s behind , so from 10.30 sat night to 10.30 sun night it will have lost about 30s.

I have picked up a C63 36mm. I wear it constantly, only take it off to shower.

Let’s put it this way, I can mostly wait til I need to adjust the date, or DST, before I have to adjust the time.

My honeymoon period on this watch seems to just keep going…

Its really not difficult to regulate the fine adjustment yourself which you can see under this topic 'DIY regulating the Sellita SW200-1'.

My c60 trident pro 600 is currently +3 spd. Not bad for a 8 year old watch with no service yet.

Same here and I’m bugged about it. My Aquitaine runs about +14 to +17 per day when overnight and I’ve tried different positions. My Certina ph1000 with the .611 powermatic 80 runs +1 on average over multiple days multiple positions with 1 quirky day of +4 when left on the crown side over night.

My Mido Ocean star has the mid grade Powermatic 80
movement, and is one of those watches so accurate over the last 3 years (when it gets worn) , I don’t bother checking it any more. Say what you will about the modern Swatch Corp, but in my mind those movements, as a whole, are an absolute miracle of modern manufacturing.

C63 Sealander GMT 36mm +5s/d
C63 Sealander 36mm +14s/d
C63 Sealander Elite (COSC) ~ +1-2s/day
C65 Cranwell Series 2 (COSC) -15s after about ~10 days.
The latter two have been so accurate that I haven't bothered to check exact accuracy. They're accurate enough. OTOH, the C63 Sealander 36mm has been checked over and over. Demagnetised etc. It really does seem to run with consistency at +14s/day on the wrist.

It’s something I do care about. But, from initial start, I don’t check until after at least 2 days of wear. For me this enables consistent rates and better accuracy.

C60 trident pro 600 - 3 years old; +\- 6 seconds per day


C63 Sapphire GMT- 1.5 years old; +\- 1 second per day. (This watch was a “special” without COSC certificate and has a SW330-2 movement, I suspect regulated by CW before sale).
