Actually, I think it might be X-ray of Titanium ore. So probably this watch is made of Ti.

I think I would agree with the titanium verdict. Quartz is much more crystalline in structure, no?

Rutile (one of the 2 chief titanium ores) has a very crystalline structure. I think the ore in the x-ray is probably Ilmenite, it looks more tame in contrast to Rutile.
